Who We Are
Miss Marie was born from a shared dream between Jade & Matteo, two sea lovers united by a lifelong passion for sailing and a deep connection to the island of Sardinia. After years of navigating the Mediterranean, both personally and professionally, they decided to create something more intimate: a family-run sailing charter where elegance meets authenticity.
They are not part of a fleet or agency. Matteo and Jade personally own and care for Miss Marie as if she were part of their family. Every journey is thoughtfully curated, every guest welcomed as a friend. Sardinia is not just their home—it’s their compass, and they are proud to share its hidden beauty with those who come aboard.

Matteo
After graduating from university, Matteo Liberotti, captain and parter of Miss Marie, has accumulated 25 years of sailing experience in the Mediterranean and Atlantic oceans, covering a distance of over 200,000 nautical miles. With his profound understanding of the Mediterranean region and thorough knowledge of sailing routes in the Caribbean and the USA's East Coast, Matteo has become an accomplished professional in his field.
Matteo's love for the sea goes beyond sailing, as he is also an accomplished kite surfing instructor, spear fisherman and is a certified SSI/PADI Dive Expert, leading certified divers on underwater excursions.
As the captain, Matteo oversees every aspect of the sailing experience to ensure a smooth and enjoyable trip for all guests aboard Miss Marie. Our ultimate goal is to provide you with an unforgettable experience of a lifetime!
