MISS MARIE

The First 53 was designed to sail well and live well. Miss Marie is fitted with nearly every performance option available — deep-draft performance keel, carbon mast, full carbon sails, and a full teak deck. Below deck, she is delightful: custom upholstery, a galley outfitted for a gourmet meal. She has been designed for those who want the performance cruising with all the advantages of refined comfort.

more than 150,000 miles sailed

Matteo learned to sail in the waters of Sardinia, and after a 25-year professional career, has returned there with a boat of his own. Along the way he's logged over 150,000 nautical miles — across the Mediterranean, Atlantic crossings, from the Caribbean to Canada.

Miss Marie is owner-operated, which means something specific: we are not crew hired to sail someone else's boat, we are the owners who genuinely care about the experience our guest have during their stay aboard.

our ethos

We consider it a privilege to sail in this singular area of the Mediterranean, not an entitlement.

Every guest who comes aboard Miss Marie shares in this privilege — and in what it demands of us in return.
A good day at sea relies on respect: for the waters we sail, for the vessel that carries us, and for one another.

This is our ethos, and we hope it's the spirit every guest brings aboard and carries home.
